Schedule of Events for 2017
FRIDAY, DEC. 8th
10:00 a.m. Historic Ornament Displays begin. Visit 24 Wellsboro locations displaying historic ornaments made at the Corning Glass Factory in Wellsboro beginning during World War II. Buy a passport at any ornament location for $5. Participants getting passport stamps at 10 display locations or more will be entered into a raffle for one of three gift baskets with gift cards and merchandise worth at least $100.
10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Hospital Auxiliary Craft/Vendor Fair
4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Photos with Santa at the Deane Center for the Performing Arts lobby, sponsored by The Fifth Season.
4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Kids "Make your own Chocolate" at Highland Chocolates.
5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. "Photos With Krampus" Have your photo taken with Krampus from Germanic legend at From My Shelf Books & Gifts
5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. "The Story of Your Life" Get a one page story or poem written by local writer Declan Synott or for a sillier story you can see award winning children's author Kevin Coolidge at From My Shelf Books & Gifts
5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Straub Brewery beer tasting at Timeless Destination.
6:00 p.m. – 12:00 midnight Family friendly game night at Pop’s Culture Shoppe -- kids of all ages are welcome to join us to play “Holiday Fluxx” and lots of other card and board games, with light refreshments provided.
7:30 p.m. "A Fezziwig Christmas" at the Warehouse Theater presented by Hamilton-Gibson Productions- This Victorian variety show features singers, dancers, storytellers and comedians - plus delicious food and beverage, all wrapped up into one memorable evening.
SATURDAY, DEC. 9th
10:00 a.m. Historic Ornament displays continue at 24 Wellsboro locations.
9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Hospital Auxiliary Craft/Vendor Fair.
9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m Trunk show presenting the hats of Christine A. Moore Millinery hosted by Dunham's Department Store.
10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Calendar sale and plush ornament giveaway. The Farmer’s Daughters.
10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Open House at Inn on the Green with local artist Heather Mee and her Wellsboro Woodlands creations. Finish your Christmas shopping here...made local-buy local!
10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Community Appreciation Day at Wild Asaph Outfitters. Complimentary seasonal refreshments, 5% of day's profits go to a local nonprofit voted on by customers.
11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. FREE trolley rides by Tony's Trolley stopping at various locations along Main Street, Central Avenue, East Avenue, Route 6, and Charleston Street.
11:00 a.m. “Home Alone” $1 movie admission special showing at the Arcadia Theatre.
11:00 a.m. Holiday story time at the Green Free Library Children's Room.
11 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Live Nativity at the Deane Center Lawn.
11 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Beer tasting and brewery tour at Wellsboro House.
11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Author visit by Lannie Williams and her book “A Hot Dog Christmas” at From My Shelf Books & Gifts.
11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Killarney Krew Irish folk band at the Penn Wells Hotel.
11 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Free chocolate factory tours at Highland Chocolates and enjoy free samples of over a dozen different flavors of chocolate bark, including limited edition holiday flavors.
12:30 Holiday story time at the Green Free Library Children's Room.
1:30 p.m. Men’s Chorus Christmas performance at the Deane Center for the Performing Arts Lobby.
1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Dunham’s Department Store Gift Department sample Stonewall Kitchens products and register to win prizes throughout the store.
2:00 p.m. Holiday story time at the Green Free Library Children's Room.
2:00 p.m. Fashion show at the Penn Wells Hotel lobby presenting the hats of Christine A. Moore Millinery modeled by the staff of Wellsboro Home Page.

10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Christmas Trivia Fundraiser for Pine Creek Dance Collective at Timeless Destination.
12:00 p.m. Santa draws the winners of the historic ornament passport raffle during Santa Brunch at the Penn Wells Hotel.
1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Hot chocolate and coffee tasting at Café 1905.
2:30 p.m. "Messiah: A Community Sing" sponsored by the Sherwood Motel- The Christmas portion of Handel's MESSIAH is presented as an opportunity for audience members to sing the choruses and to hear vocalists from Mansfield University singing the solos. December 10 at 2:30. St Paul's Episcopal Church.
